Ideally, those who have a BMI of 30 or greater and/or those with a BMI of 27 with other weight related health conditions (high blood pressure, diabetes, pre-diabetes, high cholesterol, obstructive sleep apnea). If your BMI is 27 or less we can customize a plan for you to suit your weight loss goals as long as they are consistent with a healthy BMI.

Anyone who has a history (personal or family) of thyroid cancer, multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2 OR patients who have type 1 diabetes, pregnant, attempting to conceive or breast feeding.

The length of the Semaglutide program depends on the amount of weight you wish to lose.

In most cases, patients aren’t hungry on Semaglutide and find themselves eating smaller portions.

Initial consult and labs are $230 and monthly membership is $449.

The monthly fee covers everything! Supplies, follow-up labs, follow-ups appointments with the Registered Nurse, monthly check ins, access to our closed member Facebook support group and medications.

We prefer to draw labs in-house. On very rare occasions we may use an outpatient lab.

For medical weight loss an 8-10 hour fast is required (water is ok and encouraged). Fasting is not needed for hormone testing.

Yes, as long as they have been drawn in the last 3 months and you have not had any significant changes to your health. 

If you can provide all of the labs required for screening which include (CBC, CMP, A1c, TSH, Free T3, Free T4, Thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPO), and Cholesterol panel) drawn within the last 3 months there is a discount applied to your initial consult.  In this case, Your initial consultation will be $99.00.

Semaglutide (brand name = Wegovy) and Tirzepatide (brand name = Mounjaro, Zepbound)

Our medications are compounded and come from an FDA approved and monitored pharmacy that is licensed to produce them during times of national backorder shortage.  The FDA monitors the manufacturing process and ensures they are made to the specifications of the manufacturer (Makers of Wegovy/Mounjaro/Zepbound) and as such are not combined with any other substances such as B vitamins, Carnitine or NAD.

The FDA has approved Semaglutide as an injection that helps adults lose weight. Semaglutide medical weight loss weekly injections cause us to feel fuller and less hungry. Therefore, we are able to control our cravings better and urges to overeat.

In a phase 3 trial, they achieved weight losses as high as 20% of the person’s starting body weight.  That was 50 to 60 pounds in some cases.  This is staggering weight loss.  To put it in perspective, mean weight loss in people having Lap-Band surgery is 17%, gastric bypass is 33%.  

No, there is an option for you to receive your weekly injections at The Beauty Bar, however we do provide you with injection training and 99.9% or our clients choose to inject at home.  

Everyone is different.  The results will vary depending on the person, body composition, dietary choices/modifications and how your body responds to the medication, however, many of our clients achieve weight loss about 2 weeks after starting the program.
